Hi folks,

As you know, Shadowville.com is getting more and more popular and as traffic grows and our catalog of beats increases, it begins to cut into the server’s computing resources and bandwidth. The only choices, obviously, are to upgrade or move to a better, more powerful computer server. Over the past year, we have made numerous server upgrades to accomodate the increasing traffic and to combat lag and slow loading times on the site. However, it has come to a point where we have reached the maximum upgrade capacity and must seek an alternate route — a server move.

Therefore, we will be moving the website to a new computer server over the course of the weekend, April 25-April 27, 2008. During this period, you may experience intermittent but brief downtimes. We have been backing up files and figuring out the logistics for this change this past week (which is also why you may have noticed there have been no updates on the site and experiencing long load times). We will make this server move as smooth as possible so the only difference you will notice after this is complete is an increase in the speed of the website.

So bear with us for a few days while this transition is being taken care of, and of course, we will reward you all with some new beats to be uploaded. Laters!
