cfm c’mon son go with the times…by now we got 3 hipsters 2 cupsYell

I didn’t drop a vote on this battle, cause I was gonna just sit back and have some other people share their thoughts. I usually vote on most battles and when it reaches the max, other cats don’t get a chance to vote. Other than that, nine and myself battled Rabid Nation together and s**t - People are quick to conclude I’d jump on here voting just for that fact, even though I don’t give a f**k, but surprisingly there’s enough people voting anyway. The battle scene is a bit more active now, I think KFC sparked s**t back to live a bit and it’s really cool.

If I was to vote, I would have voted for Nine. My reasons being:

In terms of a battling approach, I feel like Nine’s drop was more real as in I felt like what he said wasn’t just talking out of his ass. Whether it’s true or false, just like with tracks if it sounds like you ain’t acting or reading it off paper I can really feel that. I felt the attacking aspect more.

In terms of being technical and clever, eM had an upper hand I think. Some slick bars here and there - It’s great what you can do with a name with some creativity. All though I do feel like when it comes to numerology, you could have done something else with the number and you had quite a few bars on it. Both you dudes are completely different in style and that’s cool in itself. When dropping acapella, I think people their unique style really comes to display.

Both of you could have delivered it more aggressively in my very honest opinion. Overall this was one of the better battles. I think Nine, you should focus on lyrics making certain bars more clever, maybe throw some wordplay on, some comedy or a stronger punch. I felt like certain bars were too obvious/straight to the point. Then again if you want a punch to land, you don’t want it to be too far fetched or vague either. For eM, I’d say sharpen up the way you deliver the words on acapella like pretend the opponent is right in front of you and you’re about to chop his f**king head off or whatever. I was really curious as to what you would do with the number 9, and I was kinda disappointed. The pregnancy part and the MJ part were good/funny. I wished you said something like ”You’re a nine, cause I 8 your chances of advancing” lol

Anyway, good work both of you fellaz Cool
