Gotta go with Marsad Men on this one

Just worked better to me as overall idea and product, it made more sense

Turabo’s definitely had that cinematic feel to it, approached the theme nicely. However to me it was missing the ”conclusion” it felt like waiting for something to drop or happen, but didn’t. It became annoying to me at some point, almost like being stuck on the main menu of a game and it actually did sound a lot like a particular game’s main menu sound and theme, but I couldn’t recall exactly which lol

Marsad Men’s beat was put together better with the idea in mind it still should be something someone can record to like that, so they considered all factors more to me on this one. Few pointers are I thought the guitar picks were out of place, coming in and out and when they were clear they seemed random/off beat. The flute? I think it was at some point was a nice touch, but imho should have been more dominant or louder at that stage. I wish the clap wasn’t so loud or the quality of it was better, it came of noisy to me a bit.

All in all, again a really cool match up. Respect ya’ll

Yep I actually used 2 things off different games

Yeah you are actually right ! I actually used parts of different cryisis soundtracks as guideline because I think that game has some masterpieces when it comes to orchesral and cinematic music . If you noticed I also began with a similar crash effect from the Crysis 2 Main Menu Souundtrack : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LfdbHI4oDE

The sample with the scratches and different effects as somethign I actually took of Need for Speed Underground 2 .

Lol , you game ? I know this is off opic, but what type of games you ussually play ?

I used to collect every console from the first atari’s to the xbox 360 and had thousands of dollars in games until I decided to sell them beause I was no longer using them.

But my favorites actually came to be the games that inspired my muic and here is my list

1- The Metroid Series ( Mostly Prime ,and Super )
2- The Xbox 360 Batman Games ( Arkham)

But afte that there too many to name. My favorite are ussually the ones with amazing looking enviroments, as in a vast place to explore, and the ones you are kind of isolated and in your own mission. I love that feeling in general. And if it has good music then it perfect for me .

Also a confession about how I began producing .

When I was younger ,a nd just around ten ( even before I arrived to this site ) I was fascinated with the interesting and athmospheric music that some of my favorite videogames had, to the point that I began bruning Cd’s full of the most beautiful instruemtnals I had heard on my favorite videogames so I could hear them as I worked on my artwork ( back then was around the time I also began ) and so I was also listening to this videogame remix group known as OC remix who came up with amazing remixes to many of my favorite videogame soundtracks. With time I wanted to make my own and so I began working on vdeo game remixes myself, nd working with virtual dj until I fired out that I didnt have the skill to do these things. And by practicing and practicing with virtual dj ( the first program I ever used ) I soon notice dthat thta prgram wasnt adequate and moved on to fl studio once I did some research, there it was when I began working on producing my won soundtracks.

Once a terrible thing occurred in my famil I became slightly obssessed woth produccing and was now downloading tons of sountracks and music, until one day I clashed witht he vast amount of hip-hop ebats the internet had to offer, and I though, “why bot rap?, or try to produce rp beats”? and I began doing the same with those rap beats I found , utnil I grew as strong passion for hip-hop and rap. I never listened to any of the artists in hip-hop at all because I had grown in a christian family , and so I egan working on my own music. And with time I arrived here in SVP where many beats I heard fromt he produccers attracted my attention, and I wanted to make my won. I dreamt of being here, and I arrived to the forums, with no experience on hip-hop but I learned, and so RA the rugged Man was the aritst that drew me into undergorund rap. From there on all I wanted to do was know everything about hip-hop and produce boom bap beats where I began to forge a style. And so I went undergorund all the way. A strong passion ( and almost obssession ) grew in me for mmsuic. i now hve thousand sof downlaoded beats and huge amounts of beats, and music is in my head all day. I can come up with the most beautiful melodies and composiotns mentally in almost a second but the I realize I dont truly have enough skill to make that type of compsotion. I even purchased a keyboard to see if I could play such melodies and I couldnt.

But I hope and dream one day I will e able to do so
