The following rules apply to every single section in the community forums. Any blatant and/or excessive violation of these rules will result in a warning, deletion, and/or banning.
1. Do not post profanity in your topic title. This is the common reason why some posts are deleted without warning.
2. Do not spam or post excessively in a very short time period.
3. Do not post, link to, or private message unsolicited advertisements.
4. Do not post or link to pornographic material.
5. Do not post racist comments or link to material.
6. Make sure your posts are placed in the correct section.
7. Feedback given to artists may not be full of hate, but should be constructive in manner. If you don't have anything constructive to post or intend to have an antagonistic tone, then don't post at all.
Just like in real life, you get back what you put in. How you act in the community will result in how you will be received by the community. So don't ruin your reputation.
Just one more note, if you're asking for feedback on your music, you should be courteous enough to return feedback. If you don't, you'll be perceived as a leech and eventually no one will comment on any of your music.
Obviously if you are posting feedback on someone's work, reward yourself by posting a link to a thread about your music and ask for a return feedback.
When starting topics, make them entertaining, constructive, and useful. Add links to your music in your signature. That way when people read your useful topic, you'll be indirectly promoting your music to them too!
