One of my numerous business ventures in the music industry at present is the adaptation of an Internet Radio Station, soon to be called JUMP Radio©!

I am offering ANY artist in the Hip Hop/RnB and other closely related genres the opportunity to have their music listened to on a live radio station! JUMP is soon to be marketed to an audience of listeners who wish to be the first to hear NEW music, from artists they have probably never heard of before! They will be able to play the radio in the background, while browsing their favourite sites and listen to music I know they will like, with Live presenters directing them to the websites of the artists they love the most - giving you more hits and FREE publicity!

WHY am I doing this? Personally, through Shadowville I have bore witness to many UNSIGNED artists who, to be quite frank, are BETTER that the ones in the charts today, and this really annoys me. With JUMP Radio© giving listeners the opportunity to listen to a range of artists, rather than having to rely purely on word of mouth or the slight chance they might stumble upon somebody they like on Myspace or similar, I am giving these artists the perfect utility and a helping hand into the music business.

Please do not be offended if your music is DECLINED. Bear in mind, we do not wish for listeners to be put off from the station by music that is lacking in quality and/or effort. If somebody opens the radio and there is a terrible song playing, they’re probably going to switch it off and never come back - which means the person who we’d be streaming next might not get listened to. I know this is a pretty harsh outlook, but it is the way it must be. We have a MINIMUM standard that we require all songs to adhere to, to maintain equilibrium in terms of the quality of the station. However, if your music is declined - we’re not lying to you; It really isn’t that good! However, we WILL offer any advice we can to help you recreate music to a high standard.

Quick question. Is there any language content that isnt say…smiled upon in the radios rule, or is this a free mind radio station. Because I’d hate to send a song thats about blood and gore, n have it turned down because its to ‘raw’ for listeners. Just a question though.

Great question.

I have no problem playing that kind of music. However, the censoring of swearing within songs MAY become necessary, unless I am to implement an age restriction. If you want a higher chance of having your music played, it would be safer for you to censor all of your songs.
