The Florida Gators are the latest university team to receive its very own Air Jordan 4 Player Edition silhouettes. The Oklahoma Sooners aren’t the only college football team with their own suede Air Jordan 4 PEs. Joining the elite ranks are the Florida Gators, who received exclusive Jordan 4s over the holidays ahead of their Peace Bowl win against fellow Jordan Brand torchbearers, the Michigan Wolverines.
For the occasion, New Air Jordans 2019 has designed a special player exclusive Air Jordan 4 for the Florida Gators football team. Said to be just one of 140 pairs worldwide, the Florida Gators Jordan 4 PE include a royal blue suede upper, Gators logos in place of the Jumpman on the tongue, clear outsoles and wings, and a paint splatter treatment on the wings and midsole.
The Retro Jordan features a full Blue-based upper with translucent speckled eyelets, branded school logos on the tongue labels, while speckle detailing continues on the midsole and heel. The University of Florida’s Gator logo has also been added to the tongue tabs in lieu of Jordan Brand’s Jumpman for a final touch. These special University of Air Jordan 4 PE were worn during their Peace Bowl win against the Michigan Wolverines in late December.
