I guess I’ll add a little background to it… For almost a year I was dating this girl who was extremely suicidal, so after we broke up I wrote this song. The feeling of not being able to get in touch with someone you love, the fear that they may be dead and you have no way of knowing… just lost in the abyss. I would check the obituaries once in a while dreading I would see her name.. after a few months of this she messaged me only to tell me I’m a piece of sh*t. So here’s me accepting that you can’t let other people’s problems take over your own life.
