What's up people of Shadowville? It's MCBG here. I spent almost a year making this mixtape and I worked on it almost every night, writing lyrics, recording, and looking for beats. I finished it and put it on datpiff and youtube but nobody seems to have any feedback for me… I used all shadowville beats for the mixtape so I figured it would be ok to advertise it here.
If I suck, please dont hesitate to tell me, haha, I wanna know what some people think!
Here's the link to it on Datpiff.com

Thanks for checking it out if you do.

I like da cinematic feel of da beats u chose and how ur songs seem to have an opening (more of an album feel as oppose to a mixtape)…..da first track (my intro) imo wasn't necessary and almost made me say naw at listening to da rest.
Quality and mixing could use work but I'm not really da guy to give u pointers on that.
Flow and delivery needs works. Too many times it seemed like u rushing to stay on beat or u were reading da lyrics…Go over da verses once or twice before recording
Hooks were not great and kinda boring (monotone at times especially on Keeping it G)
Lyrics are ok but ur flow and delivery determines how, we, da listeners take them…work on it
I've heard worst

whats up man. i checked out the tape and i must say its pretty good. i like the overall theme of the tape and as a whole it flows very nicely. as for ur delivery, try using more emotion… dont feel much mic prescence. i like ur lyrics alot though, but at some pointss here and there you could use a little more or less syllables but that aint a huge issues. also i agree w/ Slicka about the weak hooks. IMO the only thing here preventing this thing from bein a smash hit tape is the mixing. it brings down the quality of the tape and if ppl initially hear it, they might see it as amateur work lol. but congrats on the tape man, cant wait to hear more!

Not bad. At times became a bit amateurish but overall it was decent.
Few things to improve: Quality. Your mixing could be a bit better, at times yoru vocals peak or they're too quiet. A good compressor can fix that.
Presence: Sometimes it sounds like you're going off the paper too much, and that hurts the performance.
rhyming: your overall structure was good, but it was spectacular, and there was no change ups in flow or the way yoru words were formed. Try experimenting. theres more then just the simple abab.
Hope to see some major improvements on your next project!
