…Feedback is always appreciated
So if you dont care what ppl think about your music, there’s no need to constantly bump your topics to try to get replies, right?
and …you accept feedback, yet, if someone tells you somethin is wrong, they’re obviously a hater cuz the south makes hot shit for themselves that no one can understand..
Ohhhh I get it…….
right…
EDIT: I’m not hating, I’m simply trying to understand what you’re saying…A few of your statements seem to contradict each other, just lookin for further explanations.

I agree, if i posted something your not feeling or if anyone else has, just state it, say what could make the track better. The thing i dislike the most is when people ask for feedback and then get on the offensive when they recieve it.
personally, i tend to sugarcoat a lot of stuff and thats the exact reason why, i mean for me, a lot of people tell me what i can work on, strife tells me when something is off or mispronounced, cobra tells me when there’s something i said that can’t be understood, slant tells me to bump the quality up (which i’m in the process of doing) and many more. but at the same time i know taking this advice into consideration is gonna only make me better instead of pretending these people hate on me and are jealous of the amount of talent i have for my age.
Truth be told, The south is dominating mainstream and has for some time, so i think we know how some southern music supposedly sounds and understand it. I think if i can understand grime then i can understand southern music. specially since stl is considered southern-midwest.
but in all seriousness, last thing i (and hopefully anyone else) would want to do is hate. it takes me time to let criticism seep in before i can apply, naturally you get this feelin like “all that work i put into this, and this is what i get??” but you gotta look at long term improvement not short.

Its pointed to anyone who sits on here and comments about how terrible peoples music is without giving any positive feedback and who also cant make a hit song to save their lives.. see i dont make shit for anyone else but me and my boys. People from the south might like my shit and people up north may hate it… but i couldnt give less of a fuck what anyone thinks about it but myself. Thats who i make it for, myself. It sounds the way it does for a reason, and when people tell me I need to change this or change that, it doesnt matter, because they have a different stye and most of the rappers on this site dont share my style so they will never understand. Feedback is always appreciated but ive noticed that when you ask for feedback on here you only get a bunch of “that sucked,” “the hook needs to be changed,” the lyrics suck” etc., comments unless youre one of the rappers on here that everyones sucking their dick..
I see comments about some of the “better” rappers on here about how bad ass their track was and im thinking, are you fucking kidding??? Most of the tracks i hear are shit but i dont say it.. i just let them be, because i got no right to put them down. Im from the south so people who arent from around here just arent going to get it.. now i understand that. Im still going to post my music however because i want as many people to hear it as possible even if they hate it before they here it. Sheep.
well i see your point really but sumtimes its better to get negative feedback then to get “fake” positive feedback cuz if ppl tell u the bad stuff about your music it does hurt sometimes seein how much effort u put into but thats life and thats how you improve yourself if u just complain about people always bein negative towards your work then u can neva improve its not that there hatin on you its well the way i see there actually tryin to help u in a sence

Sensitive folks around here. If I only had a dollar for everytime I was told I needed to change something about my music or needed to improve on something… sheesh. I do me-whether anyone likes it or NOT. When people do like it-well that is just a bonus.

Here’s some feedback for you since I’m supposing that’s why you posted this thread, right.
sweet sugar coated feed: (I like it dawg. You really ripped it man. Keep grindin homey.)
real feed: (Their is a difference in making a song and performing a song. You make songs. I tell people this all the time.. “no one will feel your shit, unless you feel your shit.” You’re just reading off paper and you’re emotionless. If you were angry and furious.. I really couldn’t tell. All i could tell is you picked a beat, wrote lyrics, and clicked record. People want to hear real, raw, uncut music. You cant read off paper during a show. Nor can you fully express true emotions when you’re so worried an caught up in getting the words right in your song. With that out the way. Your adlibs are off and hard to understand at times. The mix is poor. And quality is important when you want people to hear you at your best-trust me. Other than that. Decent. Hope u werent talkin bout me.

First off.. Id like to clarify, i wasnt talking about my songs in particular. New guys come on the site and people like KC, spadez and others dog on them left and right, giving them NO contructive critisim but just simply saying “that track was not good” and “this and that part sucked” without telling them what parts they did that were performed well. As far as my music, you can hate it or like it… my point is.. i like to see how other people felt about it that arent from around where im from. You can tell me i need to change shit but most of the time i did it that way for a reason.
To be honest.. i havent heard a decent KC song yet, and zinn a lot of your music is waaay too cluttered and hard to understand with the exception of a few tracks.. But everyone gets on here and sees “OOH man zinn dropped a track, it must be good” then immediately start posting shit about how sick it was whether it actually was or not. Theres too many fuckin sheep ass wack rappers on here who never make songs but constantly get on these forums to tell other people how to make their songs more like their shit; Which is shit.
The truth is.. if Jam, strife, Zinn or a few others dont say they like your songs then guys like KC, spadez and many others will immediately have it in their heads that its not a good song and really dont even need bother listening to it because theyve got it in their heads that it aint going to be worth a damn. Stop being such a follower and think for your fucking self. This goes for reviewing my music and any rookies lookin for some sort of support..
Theres maybe 2 rappers on here that could ever have a chance of getting signed, and TRUST me its none of the guys that arent making anything hot but yet still criticize others for not making tracks like they would! HA.. thats why i say, if you dont like it, i must be doing something right because 90% of the time you dont know what the fuck youre talking about.

That’s in every circle. You can show it to your group of buddies and they’ll all say man that was good. You can show it to a group of label reps and they might be like that was bad. You complain about it, but forums like this will give anybody and everybody the best/most helpful advice out there. If you don’t like what people say…. (do like i do)… ignore it and keep grindin. Sheeeesh
