im not sure if its exactly what you are lookin in to and for, but FullSail in Florida has a nice campus.. I took a tour of it some years back and wanted to go, but I let other dumb life situations f**k up that for me.. But their facility is nice and its right down from Disney and s**t.. check out their site though man..

First of all, you don't go to college for “beat making.”
Second of all, a music education in most cases is a waste of money. Mainly because making a living off of music requires no diploma. Music engineering is probably what you mean by beat making and people in that field will generally open their own studio, or work with people who care less about a diploma and more about your actual potential/talent. You have to understand that the majority of the people who work in music business are either self-taught, or had someone take them under their wing, and their time in the studio working with them earned them the connections they needed. You're better off finding yourself an internship at a studio or talking with someone who would be willing to mentor you.
If you insist on going to school for music go to a Community College or something. Don't pay extra money for a close to worthless degree.
Lastly, Full Sail is a puppet school much like the University of Phoenix and Cordon Bleu Schools you see the awfully corny ads for on TV. You will NOT get an education there.

it really depends on whre you live man and if your willing to leave one city or country to go to another. Usually private colleges/universities have excellent quality in the field your looking for. Theres one specific in London Ontario that provides amazing education for Sound Engineering. but its a private school so its not gov't funded SO you wouldnt get an OSAP/student loan from the gov't lol but its an excellent university

i live in jersey, so if i were going to take classes in the art institute of phildelphia. although, the most you will learn is those music classes is proper mixing. the talent and orginality comes from yourself.
