I have a samson c01u with a pop guard and when i rap I use headphones. and ive made it the best I think it can be. And people still say my quality suck. So what is the best mic?? like, and what can I get to improve my quality? thanks,

i've done alright with an akg perception 220 but i'm upgrading soon. AT 2020's are alright. MXL 990s are cheap, but you get what you pay for (crap for vocals).

yeah no offense klive, but GMD stands for a lot of things…including something involves the United States army..and the Geoscientifical Model Development (international scientific journal) as well as Germany's Society of Mathematics (Gesellschaft für Mathematik und Datenverarbeitung yes i had to google this one lmfao)….
so yeah, just letting you know, abrviations, cant do much against em.
and yes squared is correct, the mic is fine, you need to learn how to mix properly (infact, i think if you hire klive he can teach u, he knows how to mix really well).
