is underground on the bubble if u would. Stay Up
Please, show the rest of your brethren how to think.
thats just the facts everyone starts underground and then as there buzz grows they start movin closer and closer to mainstream. dude has been on with a major before. then took a step back into the underground and created the independent label Strange Music. When u run your own and do it independetly for one u get more or the money, for to you can still say what u wanna say. He will prolly always be on the bubble or division 2 mainstream. How can people be upset when he does make the mainstream type tracks. Money makes the world turn and if makin some mainstreme tracks means he gonna selll another 50 thousand because who on the album or whatever he gonna do it cuz he seein a bigger portion of that money being independant. but like i said earlier he will still continue to drop dark tracks. Stay Up

is tech n9ne on the main stream? plenty of underground artists have distribution deals with mainstream labels..
are we judging off his content or his actual status in the music business? i'm confuzzled.. do any of you actually know how to base an artist into a mainstream category..? or is this just another opinionated debate that fails in the end..?

You know that Tech isn't a mainstream artist, regardless of how his music sounds nowadays.

tech isn't mainstream, even if he distributes through fontana. rhymesayers signed a promo/marketing/distribution deal with warner brothers, and that label is almost the epitome of non-mainstream hip hop.
oh, as far as mainstream goes, kanye is by far my favorite artist at the moment. him and eminem. and lupe.

This isn’t underground. No, this is deeper then that. This is below the underground. This is music from hell.
