Five control methods for vertical roller mill feeding amount

The amount of feed in the Vertical Roller Mill grinding process has a great influence on the vertical grinding index. It is the main control quantity used by most non-ferrous metal vertical roller mills to control the vertical grinding process. Adjusting the amount of vertical grinding operation can capture more useful metals and suppress unwanted minerals, which are two important ways to ensure the vertical grinding index. This article describes the five vertical abrasive dosage control methods.
(1) Vertical grinding micro-feeder
The microcomputer feeding machine controls the on-off time of the solenoid valve to achieve timing and quantitative feeding of multiple feeding points, and displays relevant parameters of each feeding point on the CRT screen, thereby improving the feeding control. According to the change of each process parameter in the feeding process, each set value can be modified in time.
(2) Controlling the amount of vertical roller mill feed according to the proportion of ore to mine
These are two simple controls. The computer converts the flow rate and concentration signal of the ore slurry into the dry ore quantity of the ore. According to the dry ore amount and the predetermined ratio, the required material dose is calculated as the given value of the flow regulator, adjusted by the regulator, and then distributed. The material is distributed to the feeding points of each vertical grinding tank group, and the advancement of the vertical grinding fittings is fully utilized. It should be noted that with this control method, the concentration of the material should be kept constant, and the liquid level of the storage tank and the pressure of the material circulation loop need to be kept constant.
(3) Control the amount of vertical roller mill feed according to the proportion of metal in the ore
The feed ratio can be given manually or according to the original grade, in a two-determined relationship.
(4) Control the amount of vertical roller mill feed according to the amount of metal in the ore and the grade of tailings
The feature of this method is that the tailing grade that reflects the vertical grinding effect can be corrected.
(5) Control the amount of vertical roller mill feed according to recovery rate and concentrate grade
The useful mineral content in the tailings can reflect the effect of the vertical grinding operation to a certain extent, but when the mineral properties change, it does not guarantee that the vertical grinding process reaches a predetermined index. Therefore, the recovery rate and concentrate grade need to be used in two steps to control the dosage. The current-carrying ray analyzer sends the grade signal of the metal in the original, fine and tailings to the process control computer. The computer first calculates the new recovery rate based on the original ore grade, and then calculates the actual vertical recovery rate based on the calculated actual recovery rate.
