Fact: 10 years from now, cats who like this current s**t, will say that Rap/Hip-Hop isn't what it should be. And the cats who like that current roster, will say the next roster isn't what it should be. Funny, isn't it?

Well if they lose the majority of the die hard rap fans then there wont be a next big roster. The ENTIRE genre rhymes about the same thing, it gets old hearing about money and women. It's cool hearing it sometimes but its wayyyyyy over done.

Theres plenty of issues to rhyme about, the entire genres sales are down for a reason. Rap was the powerhouse in the mid and late 90s until about 2006. Raps sales were high in CDs and downloads. Today other genres are more popular because everyones tired of hearing the same s**t. I know I am. No one can say everythings been done, because it hasnt. There's a reason most of the new rappers have 1 hit single and fade away… Lil Wayne, Drake, Wacka Flocka, Roscoe Dash, ect have no lyrical content.

Lil Wayne used to be a good rapper back before The Carter 3… IMO. the people who ran hip-hop in its hayday say its on lifesupport. How much more mediocrity can one genre take before its dead?

I know I sound like a complete new day and age rap hater, but I hear the same song subject, lyrics, just with a different song title every day.

Take a look at what happened to rock n roll… In the late 90s Guns N Roses was the top band, they had the entire rock fan nation in their hands. Just like Lil Wayne and that group does now. Then Guns N Roes started making grunge sounding music. They stopped with their rock sound and changed to the grunge sound. Then… BOOM! Grung took over and rock died out. Drake, Wayne, and all of them are into singing and auto-tune and you can already see the affect that is having. True rap songs get virtually no radio play because mainstream fans only want to hear the singing rap stuff. Because the best rapper(or who they think is the best) is singing, so they think its whats good.

sales are down because of the amount of free music on the internet..

if you only listen to radio rap, your argument holds some truth. but there's plenty of real hip hop out there if you look for it.

adaptability is needed for survival, you can't stay doing the same thing.

This isn’t underground. No, this is deeper then that. This is below the underground. This is music from hell.

Here’s a list of people I like that are alive lol
1. Ice Cube
2. 50 Cent
3. Eminem(half his stuff these days) I feel his beat selection has been very bad the last few albums
4. Immortal Technique
5. J Cole
6. Jay Z
7. Nas

This is random but have you guys noticed that P Diddy was re-emerged back into the rap scene, tryna make Rick Ross like the next BIG. Now thats a huge slap in BIGs face if you ask me. Officer Ricky is no teflon don.

This is very asinine. Like, on an unsurmountable level. Re-think it, quickly.

Oh, and by the way Youngloc(nice name)..  You are talking about Radio Rap..  NOT hip hop..

If you listen to radio rap and complain about it you really need your head checked..

Its sopposed to be dumbed down s**t for the illiterate masses..

You need to LOOK for real hip hop..  You wont find it on the radio..
