I’ve seen these droppings before. I think that’s what they are. I moved a large item that was about 1/2” off the ground and found a neat pile of these. I’ve seen ‘em before too. They are just under 1/8” diameter and very uniform.

anyone got a crappy idea as to who I’m dealing with? We have mice at random living in the middle of a field, I’m seen just a couple rats, but these droppings are surely not theirs.

I searched and found that termites leave uniform 6 sided droppings of varying wood colors, but these are smooth and I don’t see any skid damage or flying insects.

Also, fit within a 1/2” gap between the floor and a large steel plate.

I totally get how finding unidentified droppings can be a bit unsettling. It’s like solving a mystery, right? From your description, it does sound like you might be dealing with some kind of rodent. It’s always a good idea to be cautious with pests, but try not to stress too much. They can be annoying, but you’ll figure it out.
By the way, I know firsthand how pests can wreak havoc. They can really disrupt your peace of mind. During my own online browsing, I stumbled upon AJ Verminator Pest Control at https://ajverminatorpestcontrol.com/wasp-pest-control-sunderland/. They offer professional pest control services and might be able to help you out.
I’m new to this forum, so I don’t have personal recommendations, but it’s worth considering professional help. They have the expertise to handle these situations.
