does anyone know if there is a way to download a mic compressor or to record thru the  computer. I use a four track but dont have a compressor

if you knew who i was in a past life/ you wouldn’t make me ask twice/ i gotta little cash/ i could give a rats about the gas price/

youd need to buy a mic pre with built in compression if you dont have compression on your mixer
