Wayne IZ overrated…just cuz he has mixtapes and he sold million of records doesnt mean he's not overrrated…Wayne is not a MC…sorry…yeah he can RAP but thats it…Wayne lacks the lyricism…Truth be told…he doesnt say anything…its his swag, delivery, and image that sells…

4MyFam is the label and the team that I Rep….All day we blue ray while u stuck on cassette..

yea but he has earned the spot where he is at he workied his way up, ur reason for him being over rated

doenst make sense, tell me what a Mc is ??????

he doesnt have to be a great rapper to be an mc im sure a Mc is a master of ceremonies or like rakim said some who can move the crowd

and wayne does that every show

This is what i think of being over rated

i think if you earned you way to where to are and you really worked for it

and put ur heart and soul into you r music then u cant be over rated i feel as though most

of all the rappers who names get mentioned alot earned it

except solija boy lol and people who only do club music lol

as far as biggie and tupac go they are legends so they earned that right be up there

i dont really f**ks with jay-z but hes up there too and thats just what i think lol

Definitely.

Think about it….dude is worshipped in Hip-Hop, especially by the 90s era hip-hop fans/heads who caught the full brunt of his music. They act like he's a symbol for this culture and had the essence of Hip-Hop embedded in his soul…but he's not that good. He had wonderful delievery and mic presence, and great narratives, so I'll always respect him, but in lyrical structure, I think at least 60% of todays rappers are better than him. The worst part is, most give him this status because of his “death.” Tbh, if HE wouldn't have died, his MUSIC would have…you can climb as far as you want up something, but you eventually have to climb down. It's just because he was snatched from the top rather than falling off on his own accord, that those who were infatuated with his existence kind of lifted him up and plastered him to the top, as some sort of monolith…which is BS imo…he wasn't exaggerating when he depicted himself as Jesus…he's treated as Hip-Hop's messiah!

PS: White guy comes, sells millions of records, and gains mad popularity: It's cause he's white. Black guy comes out, sells millions of records, and gains mad popularity: It's because of his raw and supernatural talent that NO ONE can match and we will forever love him for it….lol gtfo…
