This has been thought over and discussed for a very long time and it may soon become a reality.
We are looking at implementing premium VIP subscription memberships to Shadowville soon. Don't worry, current members and visitors will not be losing anything — everything will be staying the same for them.
The VIP members, however, will be able to access unreleased beats ahead of time (averaging about 20-30 beats per month). These unreleased beats will be available only to VIP members on a priority basis for 30 days before they are made available to the general public. This gives members the ability to listen, download, and play with unreleased beats before hundreds of thousands of other users are able to. Plus, the member would be able to purchase full rights to a beat before regular users, making the beat almost like a custom beat (extremely exclusive!), since almost no one else heard it or downloaded it.
Additionally, VIP members will have a special marking on their user names when participating in the community to indicate that they have an upper status.
The initial prices will most likely be set at:
Pay monthly @ $5.95 per month
Pay 3 months @ $4.95 per month
Pay 6 months @ $3.95 per month
Pay 1 year @ $2.95 per month
I would like to hear your opinions on this, and if it is something you may consider subscribing to. None of this is final, so things may be revised.

I like the idea to be honest. Not even very pricey for an edge on the competition. But, could be more advantages added to the VIP account other then unheard beats and special markings on the name, but thats my opinion. Good idea.

I agree its not expensive at all… I think I remember a long time ago you saying something like if your a VIP member you can buy a cd of beats that can be used for what ever… Would there be anything like that?

Yes I am contemplating on adding a special section of VIP-only beats that don't get released to the public at all that have unlimited free use for them. It will probably be around 5-10 beats that rotate out and are replaced with new beats every month (the reason why they have to rotate is to make it fair so new users who pay the same amount as old users don't get more beats as opposed to if the premium beats slowly added up in the premium library).
