Yeah i've noticed almost everyday there's like 8 new beats up, and i started thinking the same thing, they just wanna make money now, especially since so many new producers joined shadowville. I liked sinima, 2deep, slant and hala-x. The 4 that have been here since time, and now with these new producers, i barely see their work. It's kinda disappointing coming here and getting the same types of beats. Yeah pop is a respectable genre on its own, but if there's too many producers here producing pop beats, then the other genres disappear, which is why a lot of people are upset because i think that most of the people here like underground, east coast, or west coast beats.

the fact that there are more new producers has nothing to do with seeing less work from the 4 you mentioned. If people are uploading new music they aren't uploading new music. Don't you think if there were east coast beats being uploaded, they would then show up on the page? Maybe you need to get at your favorites to figure out why you have “barely seen their work” lately.

What happened to Hala x and smoke anyways? But I can definately co sign with 2 deep. Too much pop and if I have to point fingers with that I'd say Atomic beats and Neil.
We might make “commercial” type of beats, but we're really proud of our beats, and we spend a lot of time working on them. We use live instruments, we collaborate with quality singers/songwriters, we have top quality mixing etc… And our beats are different than most beats you hear nowadays.
And I don't want to sound cocky, but it seems like people like us here, we had 20+ comments on most of our beats so far, while other beatmakers get about 4-5 comments. Slantize left comments on 2 of our beats saying it was his favorite beat of the week etc…
I understand that some people might not like them, but we're definately proud of our contribution to this site.

complete co-sign you guys bring some serious heat and i love that all your beats so far have hooks, it makes my job that much easier but seriously i think this thread is starting to become a finger pointing game.

Kidding aside I do understand where 2Deep is coming from. A lot of beats posted nowadays I just skip over unless they have a lot of comments or a high rating. Sinima I feel has been slacking with the beats lately, he had a point a couple months ago everything he was putting out was pretty nice but now his beats are sounding generic.

Yo, check it…
Im not the one to diss people, or say im better than somebody else (Never really was).
But wtf happend to SHADOWVILLE? I remember shadowville carrying an arsenal of BAD A** beats back in the day when i first started listening… (5 - 7 years ago).
But recently, these beats are becoming cornier than ever! I wont point the finger at any of these producers on here, since thats not my place…. but c'mon…. quit making beats JUST to make sales!!!
This is what production came down to, it seems like its not really about the music here anymore.
Slantize! You need to clean out some producers from this site!!
To the producers: BRING HEAT!
All respect to:
Slantize
Allrounda
Hala-x
Todd Hamburger (aka Enzo )
Smoke
These are the only guys i really see bringing some creativity to hip hop!
Sorry if there was somebody that i missed… its became so many producers on here… its ridiculous.
- 2Deep
Finally one of the producers spoke the right thing! its teaming with SOUTHSIDE beats!!.. Shadowville needs to be this arranged pack of dope asses!!… too many producers ruin the curry!!… ADP dsnt even show up!!… allrounda is one of the nicer ones i must say
