Ya, it's true he doesn't write. I remember before “Crack A Bottle” (I think it was that song) came out, a version was leaked of Em rapping Dre's verse (before the actual song was leaked) so Dre could understand how to spit it over the beat.
That obviously meant that Dre didn't write it. Eminem commented on it, only saying it was a mistake though, and nothing more was said of it.
Either way, when it sound, I'm pretty sure IT WILL be good music tho. I've lost a lot of respect for Dr. Dre as time has passed for a lot of different reasons. But just was waitin for sumthin after 2001 for so long already, im not ready to giv up on it haha
hope you guys realize a lot of your favorite rappers dont write their own lyrics..

I dont mind if Dre doesnt write but he should get west coast artists like game to write for him. If u listen to alot of games tracks he has a similar style and flow to the way dre spits. And Dre is Games idol, so u know game will try his 10,000% best to make detox a classic. The mistake Dre made was getting ludacris and lil wayne to ghostwrite. They may be good artists but their flow /rhyme scheme/style is totally different than dre so alot of the leaked tracks of Detox sounded wack. But apparently Dre is trashing all those leaked tracks. I just hope the final product of Detox can live up to the hype.

I would laugh my f**kin ass of if the first 1,000,000 copies of Detox were rick roll'ed lmfao But yea if only Game and 50 would stop actin like hoes and start working together again, maybe hip hop could breath a lil..
