Well, at least he's realistic. I'd believe he earned that. Unlike some cats, gatherin all the money at family reunions to take one pic. haha. ;)

dress what the f**k you want… Take me for example… in-school, i dress the fashion that people's first impression of me is some emo-lookin kid who wears all black, and if they dig enough, figure out that I play bass guitar and likes metal……eeeemmmoooooo

whereas outside of school, ball caps, huge T's, baggy pants hangin off my ass with the Jordans to top it off. and if they dig enough, figure out I spit iller rhymes than anyone in this city…literally.

Slap my dick on her cheek and tell her to wake up, smearing cemen on her face like it was her makeup

The image of Hip-Hop is nothing more then a stereotype. But, personally, an Image is always an issue in Hip-Hop. Be like a Horrorcore rapper who dresses in christian clothes. Hip-Hops a culture grown from an 80's style (what Grit was saying) appeal from the black youths. So I can see why people relate baggy clothes and chains to hip-hop. Mostly due to the media's exposure of the 'Image' of rappers who promote that vanity.

When they think of gangs, most people think of ruthless cannibals who eat babies, and laugh while they cut people into pieces. When they think of the government, they think of suits and ties, in a secluded room, discussing politics. And when they think of terrorists, they see war-mongering cave dwellers with Kalashnikovs (AK-47's). It's all about what the media brain-washes us to think of a certain thing.

Yes! Sadly, the media definitely plays a HUGE part in stereotypes based off of image, be it clothing styles or whatever. I always feel refreshed when I meet someone who defys whatever stereotype they're supposed to “fit in.” Good stuff.

Yes, what you said is exactly what people are going to think.

You are white, you are a female, and your just not marketable in the eyes of record labels. Look at Lady Sovereign, Def Jam took a BIG risk with her and her album which dropped in April didnt even place on any charts. They dont take risks like that anymore. Honestly, if you want to be recognized, hip hop is not the approach you want to take. I heard your song “I write”, you have a bit of attitude in your delivery, but based on your pictures, you dont strike me as someone who has an atitude. You have to be consistent, either write poetry and keep your “image” or assimilate with what they expect. Or do what I do, and ghostwrite.
