Millennium is one of the most talked about generations in the marketing industry, but they are completely different?

Let’s step back for a moment and reference our Creative Digital Marketing Agency in Bournemouth wise friend, Socrates.
In 400 BC, he describes the young people and young adults as follows:

“They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs. “

Actually, not much has changed. However, a different millennium because they grow up in a world where technology is at the core of their everyday life. Think of it this way, if you were to take a millennium and pitch them against someone from Generation Y (1985-1995) you will see the same two people acted in a very different way - the main difference is the lack of technology to Generation Y. Given the age difference small (10 years) it was amazing to see how different from one another.
What distinguishes a millennium earlier generations is their online engagement. While some properties very similar among certain age groups, the millennium act very differently to trigger points online. So, when adults complain about why young people are constantly on their phones, it’s not technically their fault - the millennium have grown up with this advanced technology, something that never existed 10-15 years ago.

Below, I am talking about the 6 reasons why marketing for the millennium is different from the marketing to the common man. 6 tips that will hopefully explain what not to do to attract the millennium!

1. millennium sure the information on the mobile and desktop alike.
As many are aware, engaged with their handset millennium, almost literally. Therefore, the mobile phone is the clear favorite for targeting.

This is not to say that the older generation does not have a phone, on the contrary, the fact that young pfeople more likely to be on their cell phones anymore because of all the applications that they have - they also have much more time to play games on their phone. According to Google stat recently, 66% of the millennium confident that the information they find on a mobile device (such as flight details, hotel information, etc.) are the same on the desktop.
While only 43% rating over 35 feel the same way.

2. Collaborate with the millennium
Millennium does not respond well to the hard sell.

Why? Because they grew up in the community sharing, and try to buy love them - so to speak - it will not do any favors. Getting them to share services / products you whatever it is, is the best way to engage with them.

They not only will share no reason, however. They want to trust anything they shared medium, they want to deal with it in some way; be it funny, enlightening, or in any manner that is beneficial to their lives. Better yet, if your company can outreach to bloggers popular millennial (or millennium relevant target admire) You’ve made great strides. L’Oreal, Prada and Chanel are already doing this in collaboration with some bloggers to reach out to the millennium.

3. Make Use of Mobile!
We can not emphasize this enough.

As stated earlier, the millennium engaged with their handset, and according to Facebook, 55% of the millennium using their phones to update, post and share their own profile. This makes social media giants like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter every marketer’s new playground to promote their services.

This is the main reason why you see ads spam in your social media accounts. It’s sad, sometimes ugly but it works.
Make no mistake, not all ads will work. They should Digital Marketing Company Bournemouth be attractive, authentic, offering rewards - but most importantly, they have to look like the opposite of an advertisement.
