Nah, I'm using Audition. I've got ProTools but I haven't taken the time to start f**king with it yet. I started out learning on CEP/Audition so I've stuck with it until I can take some time out to learn what I need to in ProTools. I've seen some people work with ProTools in person. If I can get somebody to get me started with how to record and edit in there I'mma start using it lol.

Aight bet, yeah bruh once you mess wit it a lil bit you will get the hang of it.  Yo when you want to collab with someone and you only want to bounce your vocals, highlight your vocals all the way to the start of the song even if your like the 2nd or 3rd verse then go to edit and choose consalidate.  It will make that track a much smaller file, plus now it starts at the begining.  highlight it again and then create a mp3 version.  after that all you gotta do is email then bouced MP3 version to whoever and they can just drop it in and it will fit perfect on its on track.

Also like when collab wit my homie that is stationed in England all he does is consalidate it,  then he goes to the folder that is labled audio file's and emails the consolidated vocals one at a time through gmail, (there are still in wave format but consolidated)…  I just create like 3 more tracks in the pro tools session (or song) that im working on and drop all his vocals in on seperate tracks, now i can f**k with his verse as if he were at my crib spitting on the same MIC.

You should always save your songs in seperate track files incase you need different mixes… you can do that with most recording software I've used from Cool Edit Pro, Audition, to Pro Tools LE now… What I'm using at my house right now is…

Pro Tools LE - Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini - MXL 990 Condenser Microphone (I got another condenser, but this one is better)…

We got a different setup at “Ballin' Boyz Studio”… condenser mic, pre-amp, Audition…

We use a ton of different of effects depending on the situation… I usually get anything I can get my hands on… if ya'll need any help with effects or mixing, hit me up…

Preciate the tip Cannon. I'mma keep that in mind once I start using ProTools.

Rozwell, I feel ya. I keep seperate track files with my setup now (Audition, pre-amp, condenser) for that reason even though a situation where I have to drop my s**t in something else hasn't come up yet lol. All my collabs so far I've had them come over and spit on my setup.
