My, my. I merely laughed at the fact that Cobra considered a myspace rapper to his influence to rap. No disrespect at “Strife D” meant. But he blatantly disrespected ME, thinking that my post was about HIM(very arrogant), well that just changes everything doesn’t it? lol. Dear dear..

Didn’t you do a song about killing yourself? Something about going to a zoo and letting a lion chew up your arm, I believe, I’m not exactly sure. And you’re a Cage fan also, correct? Didn’t Cage do a song about killing himself? A song I’m sure you’ve heard. You didn’t(gulp) “bite” did you? That would be incredibly bad.

I’mma warrior……and I’ve come out to plaaaaaay

And Barker? *Laughs hysterically*

Um, Alex Delarge. The old fashioned, high n mighty typing your doin like My My, n Dear Dear, doesnt make you intellegent Lol. Also, the bolded comment. Plenty of rappers have made a song about killing theirselves, does that make them biters? Lol, at how foolish some people are when they DONT think before they type.

My, My….I knew I'd hit this snag as soon as I posted it. Allow me to explain. You're correct, I've heard a lot of rappers rap about killing themselves, just as a lot of rappers make songs about money, women, materialistic items, etc. Sticky Fingaz actually did a song about comically killing himself, except the concept of it was “I can't die.”

However. If I were to make a song about a “someone” writing a few letters to me, and getting drunk and “accidentally” killing himself in the process, what rapper would I biting off of? OH, BUT A LOT OF RAPPERS RAP ABOUT THEIR FANS BEING OBSESSED ABOUT THEM. Yeah, but still.

It's more in the manner in which HE MADE THE SONG. Cage puts out a song about comically killing himself, and then Strife Divine does a song about killing himself in the same comical tone? And Cage happens to be one of Strive's favorite rappers(I'm guessing sing Cage is on his top friends)?

I just think it's funny. If he wasn't a Cage fan, I'd be like Ok, coincedence. Theres a term for when writers think of the same idea, it doesn't come to mind right now though. But it's whatever, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

And whose so important on this site that I need to feign intelligence? I said “my my” and “dear dear” because those are the words that CAME TO MY MIND. Honestly, don't jump to conclusions unless you're sure you can land with sure footing.

Damn, this was lengthy…but oh well. I got my point across. No disrespect intended, I'm speaking my mind like any 16 yr old samaritan.

Samaritan? Sweet! They mention you guys in the Bible. Too bad no body understood the context. Everyone thought “a good samaritan” was just a regular nice guy, when in reality, samaritan's were barbarians during that time period that went around raping and pillaging, specifically around israel. Hence the significance of a “good samaritan” helping someone on the road.

Hmmm, Ok Alex..  My comment was a joke..  Sorry if you took it as disrespect for me calling you a clockwork orange reject..  Why does it matter if I'm one of the influences that got King Cobra into becoming an emcee?  Obviously he likes some of the music i've done..  Is that a crime?

And umm, the song that you say I, “bit” from cage wouldnt' happen to be the collab I did with DZK titled, “Kill Me” would it?  http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6074797  Lol, If you listened to any of my music u'd know that the guy in the first verse of that track wasn't me..  But wait a minute..  I guess since CAGE made a song about “comically” killing himself that EVERY other rapper who made a track about suicide is biting CAGE as well?

Seriously?

lol..  Yeah i'm a fan of CAGE's..  I'm a fan of Eminem's as well..  Honestly I never would of known or cared about CAGE if it wasn't for Em's track on The Slim Shady LP where he's like, “Went on stage and sprayed CAGE with Agent Orange and whipe'd my ass with his page in source.”

But that song made me want to find out who CAGE was and then I heard his music and loved it..  Agent Orange was a dope ass song along with the rest of his, “Movie's For The Blind” album.

Anywho, I'm glad you love me :)

Well, I'm glad you didn't get butthurt over it, to say the least.

And that was a nice “joke”….tsk. Anways, the post was never about you, Cobra could've said the name of any myspace rapper(rappers with no label who just put music out through myspace) and I would've found it just as funny.

And I'm not going to pursue the “biting” thing anymore just because you don't seem to see the finer point.

“For all you cunts that try to spit wit ya bitch click behind ya..

Wake up in the morning wit a horse head beside ya.”

Yeah, Cage is dope. Eminem is twice the lyracist, but he's dope.

And Josh, I knew that, but thanks for the 101.

i was influenced to start actual rapping (along with recording) from a friend by the name of Ayreon, and there is nothing wrong with getting influenced by someone to do anything…whether they're a rapper u heard on myspace, soundclick, the street corner, your dad or ur mom…w.e….honestly does it really matter who influenced who?

jus as cobra is, my hobby is to rap its not a career im lookin to go after sure if a major label came up to me with a reasonable contract and by reasonable i mean by allowing me to rap the way i do … otherwise i highly doubt i would be game to sign that line.

the career im going for if sucessful i'll make more money than the rappers (at least most) and by my terms lol

also, strife is a dope emcee

I suggest you two battle, STRIFE KILL'em!

BTW I GOT STRIFE AS ONE OF MY INFLUENCES! In fact I got more MYSPACE artist as my influences than I got famous people. Cuz in my view of music, is that not all brilliant minded people have the luck of being signed. For example, Strife Divine aint signed and his music is outstanding, Zinn he's on my list too, he aint signed…

And by the way, Strife, on a last note, the whole Cage diss you quoted was from a freestyle Eminem did called Waging Wars.

It wasn't on the SSLP…

And Jamal, it's about being MARKETABLE. Not luck.
