Abortion Clinic in the Witching Hour…

Post edited 3:25 am - April 22, 2009 by Rozwell

Just wondering what's ya'lls favorite albums are… and how they became your favorites… was it the lyrics? the beats? the guests? or just a mix of it all…? Here's mine…

1. Canibus - Rip The Jacker(2003) - In my opinion the most complete album ever created… from the complex story telling rhymes that Canibus displays, to the grimy epic production by Stoup… I don't really think any emcee can touch this, a few have come close but haven't done the job… Canibus is a master of the art of rhymin'… some of his tracks and freestyles lead me to believe he MIGHT be the greatest of all time…

2. Big Pun - Capitol Punishment (1998) - Why people sleep on Pun, baffles me… Dude was out of this world and this album is evidence… He was a grimey, street, battle emcee… this is what I eat, sleep and live… Word play was too sick, multis for days… production was dirty and had that east-coast boom bap that was needed, and didn't overpower Puns wordplay… the guests on the album came hard (even Fat Joe was sick…), but still couldn't outshine Pun… another canidate for the G.O.A.T…

3. Ill Bill - The Hour Of Reprisal (2008) - Man oh man, did Bill come sick on this… whoever say's Eminem is the best white rapper Ill Bill begs to differ… haha… He proves he can do it all from rhyme to produce… with complex lyrics about society, life, personal conflict, drugs… guest spots include B-Real, Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne, Everlast, Max Cavalera of Sepultara… sick production… open your eyes to the future which is Ill Bill…

Somewhere near a bunch of beavers….

Nas - Stillmatic (2001) and Illmatic (1994) cuz it was jus fkn hot

Eminem - Slim Shady LP, honestly this was his best album in my eyes, where he got serious with it but still showed a lotta fun.

Eric B and Rakim  - Paid In Full (1987)…..the album was freaking nuts. pretty much anything rakim is nuts lol…. “I take seven MCs, put 'em in a line/ And add seven more brothas who think they can rhyme/ Well, it'll take seven more before I go for mine/ And that's 21 MCs ate up at the same time.” lol now thats some serious old school s**t.

and i have to say…..NSYNC!!!..just playing….but also The Chronic album, it mostly had amazing beats rather than amazing lyrics, and it also really changed hiphop lol

I don’t own Shadowville

Well, i've only dropped 2 albums so far..  So i can't say me..  lmao, though I have enough material to drop 20 albums..  But nah, I'd have to say mainstream wise my top 3 fav albums would have to be these..

1. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony: E. 1999 Eternal..  This would have to be my #1 fav album ever because i'm from the Mid-West..  This is that type of sound that got me into hip hop music..  Say what you want about Bone but nobody can touch thier flow..  This album has a HUGE nastolgic factor for me..  This was the very first album I could listen to from song 1 all the way untill the end without skipping a song or skit..  Too me it was just that f**ken ILL!!  And it still is!  I can't wait for, “Uni-5″..  New Bone album is gonna be SICK!!

2. DMX:  Its Dark And Hell's Hott..  Man, to me this is just a classic DMX album..  His best in my opinion..  Fuck ppl haten on X..  This was his rawest album in my opinion..  So many rugged ass songs on this album..  I f**ken loved when he Introduced, Damien..  I could go on and on but this album was fire to me..  I still bump it to this day..

3. Wu-Tang Clan: 36 Chambers..  Yeah, had to go with this one too..  Another f**ken classic..  Sooo many good songs on this album..  Man, i remember back in the day me and my friends would recite every song on this word for word walking through the halls of my old school..  BRING DA MOTHA FUCKEN RUCKUS!!

The only reason why Jay has so many albums is because he bites cats rhymes and dead ones at that… at least Biggie was original with his s**t… Nas stepped up and destroyed Jay lyrically… He's just a step up from Camron, but I don't even know if that's true anymore… FUCK JAY-Z! haha…
