I just think it throws us users off when we are browsing through beats that we have no way of attaining

Sold beats most of the time are the best beats, and Shadowville just wants to showcase their 'best beats' as well. On top of that, I think when someone's searching the site and sees an 'unavailable' beat, it kind of reminds him that he can buy the exclusive rights to beats on SV.com. Wich means more money for Shadowville. I think there was a period when unavailable beats weren't visible anymore (I think half a year ago, I could be wrong too), anyway good thing Slant puts them back online

'Normally when Shadowville sells the exclusive rights to a beat, it is entirely removed from the site. However, due to popular demand, we have re-enabled STREAMING ONLY capabilities for sold beats — meaning you can listen for your auditory pleasure, but cannot download or license the beat.

You will notice more and more sold beats appearing on the website over the next few weeks.

Of course, we'll have to set some kind of way to allow visitors to toggle sold/unsold beats for purchasing purposes.

Enjoy,

Slant'

I think that wraps it up
