*Note before I start that I’m not talking about myself in partincular, im just using my experiences as examples, this is about everyone, especially the new people to the site*

Alright, to everyone on shadowville, i want to know why a lot of you cats, mostly the vets here, are hatin so much on everyone else for NO REASON! Why is it that nobody can show any other artists support, it’s like there’s a little click formed here that’s dedicated to promoting only few artists and doggin on all the rest. For example, what’s really stricken me as odd is that I live in a city of 110,000 people and ever since i dropped my song celebrity with Pyro, it’s literally blown the fuck up in my region. It gets requested and played on the radio, it’s played at all the clubs, and I get about 20-30 messages a day from random people telling me how much they love the song, anyways, you get the point. Well, when i show it to everyone on shadowville, i get NO good remarks, everyone pretty much says it’s garbage. Now I know that songs not garbage, it’s in all reality, i Damn good song, but that just goes to examplify what I’m trying to get at. I seriously don’t think anyone is honost around here. I think that everyone is completely balls deep in about five artists (Zinn, Pyro, States, Chance, and Stife), and it seems to me as though people have got it in their heads that only these artists deserve honost, good reviews. Another example is my song “Devotion” i did. I know it isn’t very catchy but everyone said it was trash. Now, if you haven’t heard it, take the time to listen to my LYRICS in that song, they are nothin short of complete genius (not tryin to brag), but i amaze the fuck outta myself everytime i listen to waht im saying. Pretty much to sum up my point is, why can’t every artist on this page be respected and HONESTLY critiqued upon instead of just brushed off the shoulder without bein given a chance. Just start bein a little bit more respectful, that’s all im sayin.

i listened to the tracks. the problem with devotion isn’t the lyrics, but rather the voice, not feeling the voice ur using. you have the flow, but no style. i’m all for originality, but you look like nick carter on the first backstreet boys cd.

seriously, no disrespect, none what so ever. i feel the track with pyro and hustlin isn’t too bad either. it’s just that delivery needs to be bumped up. you can have the best lyrics, but without the delivery (not u but some of the guys u collabed with), then it’s crap, and vice versa, no lyrics, but a banging delivery? it’s DIPSET!!! haha juelz for example of that. just find your swag, perfect it, and if anyone doesn’t feel u then…maybe ur not a peoples person

Thank you Zinn, that’s the type of critizism I’ve been hoping for, every else just said “Devotion sucks”, “Celebrity’s Garbage”, “Ur songs are wack”.
I appreciate the honestly

Oh, and yes, I do look like Nick Carter, and No, im not embarassed cuz at one time, he was the guy that half the women in the country wanted to be with, so im down, cuz it still gets me numbers like a mo’fucker, haha.

Ill give you some honesty..
im certainly not by shadowvilles standards the best around.
but like your comment your big on your streets and thats honestly what counts. I have people on here sayin priest your track i garbage or yatta-yatta whoopty woop, but that doesnt put an itch on my nuts one bit.
Because, Im somwhat of an origional artist but like most horrorcore rappers you would say we are all the same, but even then i dont waist all of my time on shadowville or myspace i am out on the streets grinding putting out 4 or 5 track demo’s ive had about 4 shows in the past month at local bars and people love to come see it! because their is alot of theatrical influences to it… not a normal rap show. on top of that i have 2 major events i will be performing at Holloween Night i will be peforming at a HORRORCORE CONVENTION held in Kansas city this year,
also oe of my promoters is working on booking me a spot at the 2009 GATHERING of the JUGGALO’s the worlds biggest horrorcore event.
my point is fuck what alot of these people say! if your city says its fresh then its fresh, if you think its fresh than it must be fresh!
i aint talking bad about the artist around SVP because dont get me wrong most them got ALOT of potential, but more than half of them sound like lil wayne wanna-be’s not all but most of them. and somthing you gotta realize is that the big ones like Pyro,Zinn,Jamino,Strife…ect..
all have been around here so long that they have become good friends and promote the shit out of eachother so much that new commers hear all this hype and ride their nuts in attempt get on a track with them… thats all it is.
All you need to go by is… if somone else wrote that song you just recorded would you listen to it? if yes, good fuckin work phat props… is No, keep tryn harder.

Well cash, i certainly liked Celebrity, and while i havent commented on it, i think its fire, i havent had time to hear the other tracks.

I understand where u are coming from with the whole bad review stuff. I personally hand out bad reviews if needed. I write what i think and u as an artist must cope with my opinion. If the song isnt catchy and i dont like it then oh well just work towards upgrading ur style to the point that more andmore ppl will like it. I’ve said this to many ppl and now i say it to you:

“If you have a problem with something, dont talk about it, dont whine about it, dont bitch, dont argue with anyone about it. Just forget the past and look into the future and how you can improve to fix whats happening in the present and create a better outcome in ur life/career.”

And yes u can quote me lmfao.

i’m usually strait up with everybody. I note things that are good, I note the things that are bad, and I try to give advice that will help people move forward. I’m a smartass, I can also be an asshole, but only when provoked. From Stranger to Shadow, Cobra, Zinn, Etc… I give honesty.

Well i certainly agree with that, not only those five ppl deserve good reviews, don’t get me wrong, they are incredible artists(except chance idk y i just dont like him and don’t see what all the fuss is about) but i don’t think it fair that only a little group of ppl always git positive feedback, if your music sux it sux period, if you plain out say, “that sond sucked” or, “quit rapping you suck” and then leave that statement with no follow up, that is bull shit feedback. if a song sux tell them str8 up but also follow it up with a reason. and also dont candy coat something, i notice alot of ppl do it, bcuz sum of us feel abd for certain ppl, well dont. just tell them as nice as you can but also with complete honesty. i feel that my music is good to a standard, im nott he greatest, im not the worst, i realize most of my shit is completed in an average of 1-2 hours and i could spend alot more time on my tracks, but i think alot of my songs are decent enough to deserve good reviews.

C-Side i’ve listened to your music and there is like no feeling too it.Have you listened to yourself in Tuesday Never Comes? You,Parallel, and EC all sound like sociopaths on that shit lol.You wanted an honest opinion so im giving you one:I dont like your music because you have no feeling and i dont like how you sound. You’re not the worst rapper i heard but to me you are far from being a good one.You got the lyrics man but you gotta put in feeling to that shit ya know.

When i see people like Zinn,Pyro, and Strife Divine,I just think these are Shadowvilles Elites and if you wanna prove yourself then you have to bring something to the table.
