I’ll start by saying that, Shadowville has been my home since sometime around 2011. It has been an absolute blessing to be a part of the Shadowville community and to see it grow. I wouldn’t be who or where I am today without the amazing service that the Ville has provided for me, as well as thousands of other artists. I love Shadowville. And though I was never a real forum head to begin with, I would still post things in here from time to time. In April of 2015 I realized that, even though writing was my strongest talent and I loved recording. Being an artist just wasn’t my calling. Performing live never meant anything to me. But being in the studio did. So from that point on I dedicated my time and energy to becoming an engineer. Not only would you not catch me on the Shadowville forums. It was rare I was even on the site at all. I no longer had a need for instrumentals. So three years go by and here I am. Finally home. Here to give back to the community which has given me, so much. Here to write a post about offering free mixing and production services to artists without such resources. And what do find when I get here? Which brings us the post you’re currently reading. It sad ins me to see that, what was such a strong site for hip hop and rap instrumentals. Is now just a lonely flee market forum. I would hope that the quality of the current Instrumentals being released would still be extremely high. As always they were in the past. I just can’t get over the amount of spam and unrelated topics that are flooding this website’s forum. It is for me, a very sad day in Shadowville.
