I was wondering with leasing rights if I am allowed to perform at like a club or bar (Im not making any profit.. just doing it for fun) …and could i make profit if i wanted to… or do i need exclusive rights for that?

You can do performances/shows with a lease for non-profit. The show itself may be profitable and you may be an act in a show of many acts, but you may not receive income from it. You would need to a performance license for this (see speciality non-exclusive license at http://www.shadowville.com/pur…..asing-info).

one more question…can i perform the song at like a bar for fun with no rights if i say i got it from shadowville? Like im not making any money what so ever, like can i use it for free and give credit to shadowville.com? And how do i enter that song contest where you can win money??
