Must be at least UNDERLING status in the forums.

you must know what 16 bars are. (we dont want any short poems or run off paragraphs)

No bragging no bitchin and no boasting until u have been declared the winner. This is to prevent long useless fights or disputes.

Official Rules of battling still apply which means voting will be done based on the default 25 pt scale. Battlers MUST POST their verses within 48 hours of each other

Battle format will be abab and it will be stated clearly who will be spitting first before each battle

if u are participating u are not to be in any other active battles while the tournament is going on.

NO CALLOUTS…..the temporary mods for this tournament will be decided asap (unless any of our official existing mods wants to supervise this) and only they will assign who will battle who.

also, although not a big deal i guess, I think abba format is fairer because abab gives the “b” an advantage as fas as getting the last word and the first response (makes it a little easier to battle if you are a “b” in that situation)…but either way i don't give a fuck i'm in
i'll volunteer as a mod too i usually check the site

You can either mod or you can battle, PR, not both - for obvious reasons.
Can I just say that i'm still waiting on a beat from Ecko, Alex, and Rec as prizes since the LAST one? Ecko is making me a custom beat, so I can understand why that's taking longer, but what happened to the others?
I mean, I don't wanna whine, but it's been a hell of a long time since I won the last tournament, and the only part of the prize i've recieved thus far is the (awesome) banner from Cobra (Thanks KC).
Can I have my other prizes now please?
On a side note: ABAB is bullshit. ABBA or nothing.

Why are people (Jamino;Paralle) complaining about the battle format?
“ABAB is gay! ABBA all day!”
Like, why? I feel that if you're a talented battle lyracist, then it shouldn't matter what order you put your verses in.
