I like this kids (Sean Divine) beat's and all, I just don't like how he always says his name at the start of his beats, it reminds me of “Who? Mike Jones, who…” you get the point. I think he shouldnt be able to do this. We all know he made the beat so there is no point in it at all.. Anyone else with me?

I appreciate the support. Slant's post sums up why I choose to tag my beats. I personally don't like the tags either and if everyone used beats honestly, I would never consider doing it.  I know you guys know who made the beat- that's not the purpose for it at all. Unfortunately, beatjacking is big business now and I've had to deal with it first hand. Keep in mind, I still tag my beats in a way that shouldn't hinder you from writing and “trying” out your tracks. Most of the time, the tags only appear in the intros or breaks of the beat. I also upload in the highest quality for free, so this should still give some reason to test out the download. On another note, this is a beat licensing site and that's what we are here to do. By buying a license and having the tags removed, you're not only showing respect to the producer's work your showing that you're serious about your craft and you want to pursue your music in a legitimate manner.  For those that do this as an honest hobby, I apologize- you'll have to blame those that have chosen to steal and misuse beats over the years and ruined it for you. I appreciate the positive comments and I hope the rest who have been openly critical will take into consideration that we don't tag beats just for financial gain or to hinder you from using them- we do it to protect our hard work. I'm glad to be on the SVL team and any of you can feel free to hit me up.  I look forward to bringing lots of different sounds and styles to the table. Stay up!

Ya i was wondering about that to, but now it makes sense, so many people pass off other people's beats as their own, it's so low. That's unfortunate you have to tag the beats, but i would do the same thing. People are messed up. Divine, i love the beats you put out so far, and Slant, well enough said haha. Just too Ill!

are you retarded? the beats are free to use, be gratful its not tagged every two bars going “sean divine moaf**kas!” be a little grateful these people decide to let us use these beats for free.

you wanna make money? save up instead of buying dope or smokes and buy then.

I hate all rappers. Especially you.
